Nibbles & Sips, An Evening to Help Us Alleviate Hunger, has in past years been a fine food and beverage tasting gala that brought the community together to raise money to support IFCS Services. This year, due to pandemic-related restrictions, we are shifting to a virtual gala with the hope that we can provide a similar, fun experience that also keeps everyone safe.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Nibbles & Sips is truly one of the feel good charity events where the community comes together to support our struggling neighbors. We hope you will join us for some online fun, including:
- Horn Jazz Music from the Jazz Hands Foundation Band
- A Live/Silent Auction with Mobile Bidding from the Comfort of your Home
- Mystery Balloon Pop - Purchase a $25 balloon (or several!) to win a randomly selected prize, each valued between $20-$100 You can’t lose! At the in-person event, attendees popped real balloons to find their prize, so at our virtual gala each purchase will be assigned to a randomly numbered virtual "balloon" during the online event.
- Inspirational Video & Update by our Exec. Director Sandra Blythe-Perry, who will summarize our 2021 exponential growth and outline goals for 2022
Event registration is FREE - online registration is now closed, contact Erin at Bolder Events to register: (970) 213-7145. Game chances plus the generous contributions of our sponsors help IFCS cover the cost of providing this virtual gala. We hope you can join us from home for a great time supporting an even greater cause!
ONLINE AUCTION FORMAT
Order up some takeout, grab a bottle of your favorite wine or spirits, and bring two devices with internet access to the coziest seats in your home.

TOGETHER, WE CHANGE LIVES!
As a direct response to the community’s growing needs this past year, IFCS is making a life-changing difference in many households of our community. The past year has exposed local hunger concerns to levels that used to be more hidden prior to the pandemic. The need for food support and financial assistance has continued at a heightened level, and we hope you’ll help us respond to our neighbors in need.
- 5,000+ Individuals each month received weekly food boxes, each including fresh produce, dairy and meat products
- 400,000 Meals were supplied to households
- 238 Children began the academic year with backpacks and school supplies
- 318 Children received holiday gifts
- 1,782 Special holiday food boxes were distributed to families dealing with financial and food insecurity
We continue to envision IFCS as a resource where individuals and families needing food support are welcomed as valuable members of our community. As they juggle multiple challenges and search for solutions that will bring them stability, we intend to continue extending a compassionate hand up. Our 2022 goals include:
- Expand partnerships and replenish resources needed for post-pandemic emergency response measures
- Expand food support services and homeless prevention resources in direct response to growing needs
- Build out IFCS’ infrastructure to streamline and focus our services so we can continue nourishing lives nimbly and efficiently
Your participation in our auction and your donations at this event will directly support our mission. With your help, we can continue providing an immediate, positive impact on our many families and individuals seeking vital resources throughout the coming year.
