2014 Nibbles & Sips
Saturday, February 22, 2014
Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center

Join Inter-Faith Community Services on Saturday, February 28, 2014, 5:30-9:00 pm at the Hyatt Regency DTC for An Evening of Raising the Roof to Prevent Homelessness and Hunger. The 2015 Nibbles and Sips Fine Food and Beverage Tasting Event is a great way to celebrate our 50 years of service to the community. Back by popular demand, we will continue our theme of Boots and Bling, so dust off those boots and wear your best bling for this upscale Colorado casual affair. Be part of one of the largest gala events in the South Metro area, drawing more than 600 local personalities and residents. The event’s goal is to raise funds for Inter-Faith Community Services, the largest, nonsectarian social-services agency serving Englewood to Bennett.

At the event, you can sample more than 250 fine wines, spirits, and craft beers from around the world, coupled with wonderful foods from local restaurants such as Piccolo’s, Azucar Bakery, The RAV House, Lone Tree Grill,  Whole Foods, Dove Chocolate Discoveries, Hyatt Denver Tech Center’s Root 25, Embassy Suites Denver Tech Center, Lora’s Donuts and Bakery, Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant, Café Rio, Volcano Asian Cuisine, Avalanche Grill, Blue Bell Ice Cream, Honest Tea… with more joining in. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.

It is truly one of the best feel-good charity events, where the community comes together to support those struggling to overcome societal obstacles; such as illness, domestic violence, homelessness, hunger, unemployment, and crime victimization. The evening includes inspirational speakers and 7NEWS Chief Meteorologist Mike Nelson as Emcee and Auctioneer.

The purpose for this evening is to bring the community together to raise money in support of IFCS’s Homeless & Hunger Prevention Programs. These programs aim to meet the basic human needs of shelter and food for those most in need. Together we can help those near us in the South Metro area, overcome trauma and tragedy in their lives. Everyone needs assistance at some point and we are proud to be a resource to provide respite. Please help restore hope, respect, and dignity into multiple generations of our community. This is a great event that brings together generous supporters and leaders for a fun evening of learning how they can assist IFCS’s year-round programs and services. We are neighbors helping neighbors and giving a hand-up to those struggling to make ends meet.

Last year, Nibbles & Sips event was sold out and raised $120,000 through sponsorships, silent and live auctions and a paddle raiser. With your help, we can reach our goal of $125,000 and provide an immediate, positive impact on the working and non-working poor seeking a sustainable life in Western Arapahoe and Northern Douglas Counties.

Tickets are $60 and tables of 10 are $500. All ticket charges cover the cost of providing this evening of entertainment only. There will be many opportunities to offer a donation or purchase donated items throughout the event.
